Do you have a filter coffee machine with a simple toggle switch? Perfect - then all you need is a smart socket such as the Shelly Plug S Gen3 , which you control via app, schedule or voice command.
Important: If you want fresh coffee in the morning, you must prepare the machine the evening before - i.e. fill the water tank, add coffee powder and set the toggle switch to "On". Shelly will then do the rest - for example, automatically brewing fresh coffee every morning at 6.30 am.
Portafilter machines still need your love and attention during the brewing process. But the time-consuming preheating process is programmable. With the Shelly Plug S you control the power supply and can, for example, warm up the machine in the morning before you get to the kitchen. This saves you valuable minutes - and your machine is ready to go exactly when you need it.
The only important thing is that your machine must not consume more than 2500 W when heating up - otherwise the Plug S is not suitable. The right appliance must be selected depending on how much power your machine needs.
